Asa Lory
I am a photographer and photojournalist currently based in Brooklyn, Ny. I grew up in Columbia, Mo as an avid consumer and producer of visual arts, steeped in a vibrant small college-town community.
Over the years, I have gained an interdisciplinary approach to photography, mixing medium and large format cameras with (now traditional) digital styles. I use these tools to form connections with my photographs, and more importantly to compare equals.
